Egyesek azt mondják: „A boltokban most minden drága!”, „Háborús infláció van!”, „Itt a vég!” Ők tévesen gondolkoznak. Még ha van is igazság abban, amit mondanak (és igen, persze hogy van), ezek a rémisztő állítások miránk és tirátok, kedves, hívő olvasók, nem vonatkoznak. Mi le fogjuk győzni a drágaságot. Mindegy, hogy a forint erősebb, vagy a svájci frank. Isten mindkettőnél erősebb. Aki pedig csak panaszkodik, az a világ gyermeke, nem pedig Isten fia/lánya. Nem Lélekben jár, hanem testben. (Ld. Gal 5, 16.)

Te honnan jöttél? Magyarországról? Amerikából? Egy roma családból? Vagy éppen Nigériából? Nem. Nem onnan jöttél. Lehet, hogy ott születtél meg testileg. De lelkileg Istentől származol! Te Istentől való vagy! (Ld. Ján 8, 47.) Alleluja!

Akik Istentől vannak, azokat semmilyen fizikai gond nem győzheti le. Ők fogják legyőzni a fizikai gondokat a Szentlélek erejével, és a Jézus Krisztus nevében. Amen. Mert Isten az, aki bennünk él, és ő nagyobb, mint minden bajnak az okozója, az Ördög. Amikor valaki azt mondja, hogy ő hívő, de még mindig gondok nyomasztják, és változatlanul csak panaszkodik valami állítólagos gazdasági válságról (szarkazmus), akkor ő nem is hívő valójában, mert csak egy fizikai szinten gondolkodik (a Biblia megfogalmazásában: test szerint). Ahelyett, hogy lelkileg is gondolkodna. John Oni pásztor már hónapok óta ezt magyarázza nekünk.

A múlt pénteken elmentem a SPAR-ba, hogy vegyek egy kiló kenyeret és 40 deka sertészsírt. Miután ezeket a kosaramba tettem, komoly dilemmával szembesültem. Vagy vásárolok egy fej hagymát is, és akkor nem tudom befizetni az e havi 357 (háromszázötvenhét!) forintos víz- és csatornadíjat, vagy befizetem a vízszámlát, és akkor nem marad a hagymára. Ennyi pénzem volt. Komolyan ennyi pénz állt rendelkezésünkre a háztartásban. Ott álltam tehát a SPAR-ban, és ennyi pénzem volt.

John pásztor tanítására gondoltam, és úgy éreztem, hogy most nem igazán tudom átélni azt, hogy olyan nagyon az Istenhez tartozom; illetve azt, hogy az ő hatalmas nevében minden akadályt el tudok söpörni az utamból. Nyomorúságos érzés volt. Nem tudtam lelki módon szemlélni a helyzetemet.

Azóta három nap telt el. Megkaptam valahonnan azt a 20.000 forintot, amire számítottam. „Így a telefonszámlával csúszunk majd. Minimum egy hetet. De legalább az evés kijön a húszezerből ezen a héten.” – mondtam magamnak.

Miután a 20.000 forintot eltettem, valaki, akivel ismerjük egymást, egyszer csak megszólított. (Ő nem sokat tud a mi nehézségeinkről.) Megkérdezte, hogy ne adjon-e nekünk 5.000 forintot, csak úgy. Gondolhatjátok, hogy ezúttal nem szégyelltem a pénzt elfogadni. Örültem neki, „felujjongtam magamban”, és ezt mondtam: „Így be fogjuk fizetni a telefonszámlát is. Dicsőség az Úrnak!”. Majd pedig ezt: „Isten Igéje tehát működik. Akármekkora is a gazdasági válság, a Szentlélek megvéd az anyagi csődtől.”

Ma ezzel a bizonyossággal alszom el. Jó éjt!

Utóirat: Közben megjelent egy ismerősünk két kiló házi(!) túróval. A felét annak fogjuk adni, akitől a plusz pénzt kaptuk. „Holnap vendégek lesznek nálunk, úgyhogy épp kapóra jön. – mondta – Akkor a házi túróból is készítek valamit ebédre.”

Angol fordítás – and now in English

Some people say that "Things are very expensive!", "Economical crisis!", "No way out!" This is false thinking. Even if these statements are true (and yes, they are, of course), they do not apply to you, dear believer readers of our new blog. We shall overcome high prices. No matter which one is stronger, HUF or USD. God's stronger than any of them. And if all you do is complaining, you are a child of the world, and not the son or the daughter of God. You don't walk in the Spirit, but in flesh. (~ Gal 5, 16.)

Are you from Hungary? Or the US? Or do you come from a gypsy family? Or from Nigeria, incidentally? No! It is just your flesh, that may have been born there. But your spirits are of God! You are from him. (~ John 8, 47.) Hallelujah!

Those who are from God can't actually be defeated by any physical problem. Physical problems shall be defeated by them through the power of the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Because God is living in them, who is greater than the cause of every problems, that is the Devil. If you say you are a believer and you are still oppressed, and still complaining about some alleged economical crisis (sarcasm), then in fact you are not a genuine believer, because you are fleshly (which means that you can only think of the physical level) and not spiritual. Pastor John Oni has been preaching about this for half a year.

Last Friday I went to the grocery to buy a lofe of bread and a pound of pork fat. After putting them into my basket, I was suddenly faced with a dilemma. "If I buy an onion too, I cannot pay my $1.05 (one point zero five dollars!) water bill for this month." "But if I pay the bill, I'll have no onions." Honestly, that was all the money in our household. So I was standing at the grocery store and that was all the money I had.

I tried to remember the teaching of pastor John, but at this time I felt that I'm not really able to experience that I belong to God and to experience that, in his mighty name, I can destroy all obstacles in my life. I was miserable. I could not see the situation from the spiritual point of view.

It was three days ago. Since then I received 20,000 HUF from someone, as it had been discussed. I said to myself: "Now we'll have to delay paying the phone bill for some time, but we'll surely be able to buy some food this week."

Then, just after putting that 20,000 forints into my wallet, someone unknowing about our financial issue addressed me. "How about giving you 5.000 forints now just for free?" Well, yes, this time I wasn't shy to accept that, and I rejoiced and said to myself: "Now we'll pay the phone bill too. Glory to God!" And: "Accordingly, the word of God does work. No matter how serious the economical crisis may be, the Holy Spirit is protecting us from failure."

This is the sureness in which I'm going to sleep tonight. Have a good dream!

PS: In the meantime a friend of ours has turned up with four pounds of homemade(!) cottage cheese. Half of that goes to those who gave us the money. "It just came handy – they said –, we'll have some guests tomorrow, so we could use this homemade cottage cheese for cooking the dinner."
